I guide people through pain and uncertainty toward clarity, safety, and movement that feels meaningful.
A few years ago, I worked with a high school student who had never really known stability. Anxiety and depression followed him everywhere, and for a long time our sessions felt less like progress and more like simply showing up and seeing what would happen. We kept going anyway.
After months of work, he said something I still think about:
“This is the first time I have ever been happy.”
That moment stayed with me. Not because everything suddenly changed, but because it didn’t. It reminded me that healing usually happens in smaller, subtler ways. A little more trust. A little more safety. Enough footing to take the next step. Even in the hardest seasons, something can shift.
That’s the kind of work I do. I sit with people who are trying to make sense of what they’re carrying and help them figure out what comes next. Sometimes you come in with a clear goal. Sometimes you don’t. Either way, we’ll slow things down, stay honest about what’s really happening, and work toward change that actually lasts.
I work with individuals, couples, and families across all ages. I especially enjoy working with young adults in the middle of big transitions like college, careers, relationships or identity shifts… those moments when life starts asking harder questions. I’ll help you focus on understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and turning that insight into movement you can feel outside the room.

I learned early that life can change quickly, and people don’t always know what to do with the pain that follows. I’ve been there.
I believe deeply in the value of every person and in what can happen when pain is met with honesty and compassion. That belief didn’t come from textbooks alone. I lost my father to cancer when I was 12, and years later, my sister ended her life. Those experiences changed the way I understand grief, resilience, and the importance of not having to carry everything alone.
Because of that, I’m thoughtful about how I show up with people. Clients often tell me I’m warm, approachable, and steady. I listen closely. I ask questions that matter. I offer gentle challenges when they’re useful and leave space when they’re not. We move at your pace, not because there’s no direction, but because real change doesn’t like being rushed along.
Outside the office, my life is pretty simple. I bake sourdough bread. I spend time outside when I can. I camp whenever the opportunity shows up. I play sports with friends and family, usually the kind where no one’s keeping score and everyone’s just glad to be there. Those ordinary rhythms keep me grounded and remind me why this work matters.
If you’re ready to make sense of what you’re carrying, let’s connect and see if working together feels like the right next step.
